Whether you want to hone your existing skills, learn something completely new or nail that audition, I can provide the guidance and support you need to succeed. As a qualified instructor, my personalized, one on one lessons have helped people of all skill levels achieve greater understanding and expertise.
Audition coaching is a one hour session and will bring that audition to a higher level. One on one ongoing classes will add to your actor's toolbox and hone those artist skills. In the ongoing classes I will send you a monologue or scene (with me as your reader), which you familiarize yourself with. Then in our one hour class I will help you hone your skills with various approaches to the scene, acting exercises and professional coaching.
The benefits of one on one coaching include a much deeper, more intensive coaching experience than you would have in a group class, which is tailored to your needs as an actor. It also allows you a lot of screen time to improve your work and an opportunity to discuss your personal journey in the business and as an artist.

ABOUT YOUR COACH

I am a professional actor and acting instructor in both film and theatre and am a member of ACTRA and Actor’s Equity. I’ve been teaching acting for over 15 years, including 14 years at The Citadel Theatre Foote Theatre School as well as guest or sessional teaching at places such as Artstrek, University of Alberta and elsewhere. I have extensive experience with private coaching, in-person and self-tape auditions and I have worked often as a reader and assistant for casting in both film and stage.
Before beginning my career as an actor and acting coach, I trained extensively and I believe in the power of training to unlock your unique gifts. I hold an MA and a BA in drama and I studied across Canada and in L.A. both in film and in theatre. Some of my TV appearances include: JANN (S 1-2) on CTV, Winter in Vail on Hallmark, Fortunate Son on CBC, Fear Itself on NBC and Blackstone on APTN (S 3-5), as well as other film, documentary, commercial and voice over projects. Some of my theatre appearances include: Constellations, Bravo, and Becoming Sharp (Shadow Theatre), Gideon’s Knot (Chorus Prod.), Encounters and Metamorphoses (The Citadel Theatre), The National Elevator Project II (Theatre Yes), Clean House and Ashes to Ashes (Trunk Theatre), Werewolves (PI Theatre Vancouver), Afterplay, Molly Sweeney (Blarney) and others.
I have a passion for teaching acting. My classes have a positive atmosphere that allows the actor to work the dramatic process, explore their creativity, and challenge themselves to go beyond their expectations.
